We Love Gems - Design Contest

Let your creativity Shine !

Enter our "We love gems" Design Contest

Use your favorite crystal, gemstones, or pearls and make a beautiful necklace or bracelet.  Use Silver, Gold, Copper, or Base Metals.  Try adding leather or silk cording. 

We're looking for your best designs.  Create a Necklace with some of your favorite gems or a bracelet with leather and metal.  You choose your materials - the skies the limit.

Contest Rules

• Each entrant can submit up to 3 projects
• Each project must contain at least 65% materials currently available at NC Beads
• A full list of Beads, components, wire, and findings must be submitted with each project.
• Each entrant must submit their name, contact information, and the name of their project.
• Must be at least 15 years of age to enter
• Entries may be made by email or postal submission
• Entry deadline is Jan. 31, 2015 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time
• Design must not have been published before
• Project must be original and not from a kit
• Project must be the sole property and design of the entrant.
• Project must be first time entries in any contest.
• Winners will be notified by February 12, 2015.

How to Enter

Fill out the Design Contest Submission form for each project you answer.  The Design contest form can be found here:  Design Contest Form  - This can be filled out online and submitted - then email at least two (2) pictures of your project to info@ncbeads.com with the title of your project and Design Contest in the subject line of your email.  For those that would prefer to mail in their entries - simply print off the form and mail two 4x6 color prints of your project to:  NC Beads, P.O. Box 72973, Durham, NC  27712 - That's it.  We can't wait to see what you create.

1st Place   -  $50.00 Gift Certificate to NC Beads (no. of winners 1)

2nd Place -  $25.00 Gift Certificate to NC Beads (no. of winners 1)

3rd Place -  $15.00 Gift Certificate to NC Beads (no. of  winners 3)

All entries may be published on NC Beads.com, it's blog, pinterest, or other social media.  Winning entries may be published in one of our NC Beads magazine Ads.

Release Form / Information

In consideration of the use of my design described above, I hereby grant NC Beads their legal representatives and assigns, those for whom they are acting, and those acting with their authority and permission, the absolute right and permission to copyright and use, reuse and publish, and republish photographic portraits or pictures of said item(s), in whole or in part, or composite or distorted in character or form, without restriction as to changes or alterations from time to time, in conjunction with my own or a fictitious name, or reproductions thereof, in color or otherwise made through any media at their studio or elsewhere for art, advertising, trade or any other purpose whatsoever. I understand and agree that all photographs of my piece created by NC Beads are the sole property of NC Beads and release to NC Beads any claim I may have to these photographs.

I also consent to the use of any printed matter in conjunction therewith. I understand that my name, my company name if applicable  will be used each time my design is used.

I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product or products, or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.

I hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless NC Beads, their legal representatives or assigns, and all persons acting under their permission or authority or those for whom they are acting, from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

By entering the contest, I state that I have read the above authorization, release and agreement prior to its execution, that I am of the age of majority and that I am fully familiar with the contents thereof.
